In 1996, Paradisio began making commissioned pieces of high-end furniture for a limited clientele. Becoming accustomed to quality furniture, Paradisio's clients frequently requested that we make custom picture frames from our exotic woods for everything from paintings to photography. In response, Paradisio began making high quality frames for individual collectors, then elevated our craft to supply museums, galleries, professional framers, and fine artists with the most elegant, durable, exotic hardwood picture frames available today.

Paradisio purchases, planes, shapes, sands, and finishes all of the wood for each frame from hand-selected rough timber to ensure consistency in grain and color. There are no wood fillers, no appliques, no stains or veneers in, on, or near any of our products. (You can't make us, so don't ask.)

Paradisio uses exotic species consciously, and only from reputable sources. Our techniques of working with, and finishing, these woods are also environmentally-friendly.

Paradisio has only recently taken its business to the World Wide Web in hope of affording everyone the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of these fine woods, but our commitment to quality is unchanged.
